Phineas, is the name of the figure that in Hebrew we call Pinchas. It might mean “dark-skinned” or “dark red”.
It to some is a controversial story in the bible, but, it is there and it tells how Phineas killed, as we covered last week, a couple engaged in sexual immorality in the tent. There was a plague. A sexually transmitted disease going around, luring Israelite men into the tents of woman of other cultures that worshipped other Gods, became how to lead Israel down, by sexual immorality and then, sexually transmitted diseases. Where an Army couldn’t defeat them, sexual immorality and diseases did. As the story goes, Phineas went into the tent and killed a couple engaged in sexual sin…..by no irony, it ended the plague, the sexually transmitted diseases stopped. How lucky people are that Phineas is not out there stalking them around their tents and killing them today. If sexual sin in America or…. Colorado especially were handled this way, like in Phineas times, there might be a lot less sexual immorality, diseases, and moral decline of America, ….and we become great again. MAGA, ….stop sexual sins and diseases. Can you imagine the terror that for a couple or so seconds that filled the minds of a man and woman in the middle of sexual sin and sharing sexual diseases with each other, to see in the corner of their eyes, some man named Phineas inside their tent and killing them?
Yet, when you read further , this process of a righteous man being angry, and entering into an area to become violent, is throughout scriptures, and was done to prevent sin and violations of God’s laws. Kind of puts you on your toes…yet, look at what Yashua did in the scriptures below, he went into the temple, and got violent overturning tables and sending money changers running for their lives. Sometimes, it is needed, for National survival, to wake people up, and go straight to the source of sin, crime, fraud and bust it up. Like ICE raids going after illegal aliens in USA going through IRS and Medicaid files…..to then go disrupt the fraud and crimes before our nation goes broke and falls from within. The raid into the tent by Phineas, or the raid into the Temple by Yashuau, or the Feds busting Democrats frauds and corruptions and criminal illegal aliens.

The Torah and Bible even, are not for the meek and weak, or those who oppose Hashem. Eventually,….someones going to crash your tent and put a stop to your harms if your up to crime and immorality.
Is sin and crime worth it under God’s laws?
